I offer services to serve as an Independent Electrical Consulting Engineer (
I offer my services as a Sole proprietor trading as ONWEB WEB DESIGN . With that said I design websites that are mobile friendly and it adjust according the screen size of the device being used to view the website. (This CV website have been designed by myself.)
Further to the above (while being self employed) have I studied the art to design, install and perform system integration tasks on CCTV equipment. Refer to my website at Spystuff the section called ICE Tutorials to witness my current CCTV knowledge base.
I served as Independent Consultant to Magula Erasmus Consulting Services cc to evaluate, redesign and drafting of new Bill of Quantities on the Nurses Home and Medical Depot of Mthatha Regional Hospital. This task took three months to complete and the project value was R25 Million.
I served as Independent Consultant to Randshelf 218cc t/a Prime Electrical in order to render consulting services on Gamsberg 66/11kV Substation to draft a detailed Bill of Quantities which involved the following:
- 66kV Outdoor Circuit Breakers and Isolators
- 66kV Outdoor Busbar Post Insulators
- 66kV Outdoor CT’s and VT’s
- 66kV protection and control panels in switchyard.
- 2 x 66/11kV 36/45MVA transformers
- Neutral Grounding Resistors
- Capacitor banks for Power Factor Correction
- 2” EH Al Pipe Busbars and Moose conductors
- Earth Mat and Lightning Protection System
- Illumination System
- 400V system, with A/C panel and Battery Charger
- O-Line Heavy duty galvanized cable ladders, 600mm wide, to be installed inside substation Building

The Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor on Noblesfontein Windfarm project was Group 5 and Iberdrola Joint Venture.
The Wind farm consisted of 42 Wind turbines as manufactured and commissioned by VESTAS.
Tasks as Owners Electrical Engineer:
- Monitoring works to ensure that the quality of installation is done as per specification by addressing the EPC contractor when necessary.
- Monitoring the progress of the works daily and address construction problems identified by me.
- Comment to client (Coria) on electrical design changes as made by EPC contractor for Coria’s approval/rejection.
- Representing the client (Coria) at Eskom meetings and commissioning processes.
- Attending monthly site meetings to comment on electrical matters on behalf of the client.
- Following up with the EPC contractor to update the as-built drawings, and sign off as correct at completion for future maintenance solutions.
- Evaluate and comment on monthly reports and milestone claims as submitted by the EPC contractor.

My appointment at CA du Toit was standing for the duration of the Noblesfontein Windfarm construction period. This project has been successfully completed, therefore my contractual agreement expired.
